In an interview with Canal 11, Ruben Neves stated that it was the correct decision to join the Roshn Saudi League, stating that “it’s no different from the Premier League”.
Neves, who started his career at Porto, also stated “after my contract ends with Al Hilal, I will return to Porto. that’s my plan” his Al Hilal contract ends in the summer of 2026.

While on vacation in Saudi Arabia’s Shebara, a resort in the Red Sea, Renard stated how impressed he was with Shebara and called it “one of the best destinations in the world”.
About the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification, Renard stated that they have 4 important matches left and said “our goal is direct qualification to the World Cup”.
He also spoke about women’s football in Saudi Arabia stating that it is “developing incredibly quickly” and stated that Saudi Arabia is developing well in all aspects, saying that “Saudi Arabia is the future of the Middle East”.
UAE Officially Submit Bid To Host The 2031 AFC Asian Cup
The UAE Football Association officially confirmed on social media that it has submitted an official bid to host the 2031 Asian Cup. The UAE has previously hosted Asia's premier international football competition in 1996 and 2019.
In a statement posted on X and Instagram, President of the UAE Football Association, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, said the UAE “is capable of hosting major sporting events due to the strength of its infrastructure and the availability of all the reasons for success.”

Al Jazira officially announced the signing of 18-year-old midfielder Layth Gulzar from Brighton and Hove Albion on a deal until the summer of 2028 for an undisclosed fee.
Gulzar is a highly-rated English-Pakistani talent and made his debut with Brighton’s u-21 in December 2024. he has also previously trained with Brighton’s senior squad.
