Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund Is Reportedly Interested In Buying Santos FC
According to Brazilian journal Diario Do Peixe, The PIF, who previously bought Premier League’s Newcastle United in October of 2021, is interested in buying Brazilian club Santos.
Yasir Al Rumayyan, the governor of the PIF, said “We are interested in investing [in Brazil] in technology, renewable energy, and mining, and hopefully in football too.” Back in the summer of 2024.
