Mohamed Salah has signed a new contract with Liverpool to keep him at the club beyond the current season, the team announced on Friday.
The Egyptian has put pen to paper on a two-year contract worth £375,000 per week, ending one of the club's biggest contract sagas of the century.
So far this term, Salah has scored 32 goals in just 45 appearances in all competitions – 27 of which have come in the Premier League, making him the division’s leading marksman. These strikes have been supplemented by 22 assists for his teammates.
